you only use Claude, you want sessions that keep running in Anthropic’s cloud after you close the app, you work on a Mac or Linux, or you want pull requests opened and merged from the same window.

Can I use my Claude Pro or Max plan in Codee3?

Yes, through Claude Code signed in with your own account. Codee3 never sees your sign-in, and does not provide or resell any AI usage.

Is there a Claude Code desktop app for Windows?

Yes. Anthropic’s Claude app has a Code tab on Windows, x64 and ARM64 (its quickstart, checked 2026-10-21). Codee3 is a separate Windows IDE that runs the Claude Code command-line tool.

Can Claude Code Desktop run Codex or Gemini CLI?

Its desktop docs name no Codex, Gemini or OpenAI option (checked 2026-10-21). It runs Claude, through Anthropic or a cloud provider you set up.

Is Codee3 an alternative to Claude Code Desktop?

On Windows, yes, if you want more than Claude: it runs Claude Code beside Codex and Gemini CLI. It runs Claude Code itself, so it can also sit next to the Claude app rather than replace it.

Can I use both?

Yes. Both run Claude Code, so your CLAUDE.md files work in each. Codee3 opens the same folder without moving anything.
