Codee3 vs Conductor and other agent orchestrators
Conductor, Superset, Emdash and others run several coding agents at once, each in its own copy of the code. They differ in where they run, which agents they take, and what keeps the agents in step.
Conductor and Superset have no Windows app today: Conductor’s docs say it “is not available for Windows or Linux yet”, and Superset says “Windows is not yet available”. Emdash, Nimbalyst and Codee3 run on Windows. All of them run several coding agents at once on your own subscriptions. Codee3 adds a project brain every agent reads.
Conductor suits you if
you work on a Mac, you want Cursor or OpenCode agents beside Claude Code and Codex, or, on its paid plans, cloud workspaces that keep working after you close the app.
Codee3 suits you if
you work on Windows, you use Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI on your own plans, and you want every agent to read one project brain. Founder adds an orchestrator that splits the work and guards that hold your decisions.
Is there a Conductor alternative for Windows?
Codee3 is one, made for Windows 10 and 11. Like Conductor it runs your own agents on your own plans, and with Founder each helper works in its own copy of the code. It opens the folder you already use; nothing is converted.
- 01Download Codee3 for WindowsOne installer for Windows 10 and 11.
- 02Open your project folderNothing is converted or moved.
- 03Sign in to Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLIWith the account you already pay for.
What people ask before they choose.
Does Conductor run on Windows?
Not yet. Its install page says “Conductor is not available for Windows or Linux yet” (conductor.build/docs/installation, checked 2026-10-21). Local workspaces run on your Mac, and cloud workspaces come with its Pro, Teams or Enterprise plans.
Does Superset run on Windows?
Not yet. Its site says the desktop app runs on macOS, with an experimental Linux AppImage, and “Windows is not yet available” (superset.sh, checked 2026-10-21).
Is Superset changing its name?
Its home page says “Superset is getting a new name soon” (superset.sh, checked 2026-10-21). Its Windows app is not yet available.
Which agent orchestrators run on Windows?
Of the apps we checked on 2026-10-21: Emdash and Nimbalyst list Windows downloads, and Sculptor says Windows support is on the way. Codee3 runs on Windows 10 and 11.
What about Claude Squad?
It is an open-source terminal tool (AGPL-3.0) that runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and other agents in tmux sessions, each in its own git worktree. Its README lists tmux and gh as prerequisites and names no operating system.
What does Codee3 add to running agents in parallel?
A project brain every agent reads, and with Founder, an orchestrator that splits the work and guards that stop changes that break a recorded decision. Of the apps we checked, Nimbalyst comes closest: its agents organise decisions and questions into a wiki you can edit, shared with a team on its Wiki Teams plan.
What does Codee3 cost on top of my AI plan?
Nothing for up to two projects open at a time. Founder is US$149 a year for unlimited projects and the orchestration. Your AI usage stays with your own plan.
